The OTPF

OTPF stands for Occupational Therapy Practice Framework, and it is the foundation/guidelines for occupational therapists while working in different settings, and it highlights an occupational therapist's scope of practice. OTPF helps occupational therapists identify certain aspects of a client, and it helps the therapists progress towards a treatment plan. It focuses on occupation, health, and wellness. Even though each therapist has different educational backgrounds, experiences, and opinions, the OTPF is constant throughout the entire field and contains useful information to put into practice.
